Guac and THE game. Need I say more? 3 ripe avocado, quartered cherry tomatoes, 1/2C cilantro, 1/3 of a red onion, diced, and the juice of one lime. Combine with a potato masher, leaving some chunks of avocado. Enjoy with wonton chips! 1/6 of this recipe is 4pts, for you WW peeps.
I’ve tried all the tricks to get guac to keep from browning. Fresh lime juice on the surface, cling wrap on the surface… nothing was fool proof. UNTIL NOW! I read somewhere that you spread the guac so it has as flat a surface as possible in your container, and then dribble about 1/4 inch of water on the surface. I was skeptical until I tried it yesterday. Made the guac, poured on the water, crossed my fingers, and put it in the refrigerator. Just now opened the container, poured off the water, and here’s the proof:
