We escaped to Ohio for a whirlwind day of touring venues to host our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. We had a great lunch riverside at Burntwood Tavern. What a charming town! The evening was what we most looked forward to. It was definitely the highlight of our day. We shared a beautiful dinner al fresco with our son, his fiancĂ©, and her two lovely parents in Hudson, Ohio. What a treat to meet Molly’s parents! Nancy and John were gracious and relaxed hosts, the drinks were spot on, (warm summer evening = gin+tonics) and the meal was delicious!

Beef and chicken kabobs, orzo salad, and perfectly cooked asparagus. Nancy set a beautiful table with a gorgeous linen tablecloth brought back from a trip to Italy. Adore those colors! Dessert was Nancy’s aunt’s legendary frozen peanut butter pie. It took all my willpower not to have a taste, but I am told it was spectacular!

Relaxed, comfortable, easy conversation. It was as though we had known them always. We feel the same way about our future daughter-in-law, so that makes perfect sense!

Their backyard was an oasis for the eyes. Gorgeous foliage everywhere in sight. Nancy claims to not be a gardener, but we disagree!

Moll & Teddy – Adore these two!
Celebrating love, meeting new friends, planning for the future, sharing a meal in the garden … it’s just so good.
Congratulations to you and your family. How exciting to meet Molly’s parents over the weekend. You are so very blessed. Love you
Thank you! We are indeed very lucky.
